Conversion frameworks

A Claude skill for strategy, copy, UX, and launch decisions.

Download Compactum's conversion framework skill: a structured Claude workspace for turning behavioural science, marketing strategy, copywriting, UX, and launch frameworks into better business decisions.

What is inside

Strategy before tactics.

The skill routes work into market selection, avatar design, competitive positioning, offer architecture, and messaging so you do not jump straight into random execution.

Copy, build, launch, and science layers.

It includes sub-skills for conversion copy, UX and page structure, traffic and retention, and the behavioural science behind why each recommendation works.

A reference library of proven frameworks.

The package includes notes from behavioural science, copywriting, positioning, UX, traffic, pricing, persuasion, retention, and offer design sources.

Useful beyond business strategy.

Although it is specialized for marketing strategy, the same thinking can help with career direction, personal positioning, communication, portfolio strategy, and deciding where to focus your effort.

How to use it

Use it when you need better questions, not just faster answers.

01

Plan a business.

Work through market selection, avatar clarity, positioning, offer design, pricing, and messaging before spending on execution.

02

Improve marketing assets.

Use it to critique headlines, landing pages, ads, emails, funnels, forms, and launch plans against conversion frameworks.

03

Shape a career direction.

Adapt the same frameworks to personal positioning, portfolio clarity, skill packaging, outreach, and opportunity selection.

Installation guide

Set it up inside Visual Studio Code.

This download is a Claude Code skill package. The easiest way to use it is inside a working project folder in Visual Studio Code, with Claude signed in and authenticated.

01

Download the skill zip.

Use the email form above to unlock the download. Keep the zip file somewhere easy to find, such as your Downloads folder.

02

Install Visual Studio Code.

Download Visual Studio Code from code.visualstudio.com. During setup, VS Code may ask you to sign in with GitHub. Sign in if prompted so extensions and project tools work smoothly.

03

Install Claude inside VS Code.

Install the Claude Code extension, sign into Claude, and complete the authentication flow. We recommend using Claude for this package. Only use Codex instead if your Codex setup explicitly supports local skills with SKILL.md files.

04

Open or create a project folder.

In VS Code, go to File > Open Folder. Open the folder where you want to work. If you do not have one yet, create a new folder first, then open it in VS Code.

05

Put the skill inside the project.

Move the downloaded zip into your project folder, extract it, and place it where Claude Code expects project skills:

.claude/skills/conversion-frameworks/SKILL.md

If you are using the VS Code terminal, you can run this from the project folder on Mac or Linux:

mkdir -p .claude/skills
unzip conversion-frameworks-claude-skill.zip
mv "updated skill" .claude/skills/conversion-frameworks

On Windows PowerShell, use:

mkdir .claude\skills -Force
Expand-Archive .\conversion-frameworks-claude-skill.zip -DestinationPath .
Move-Item ".\updated skill" ".\.claude\skills\conversion-frameworks"
06

Restart Claude Code and invoke the skill.

Reload VS Code or restart Claude Code so it can detect the new skill. Then ask Claude to use it directly:

Use the conversion-frameworks skill to help me choose a market and build my offer.

You can also start with one of the skill routes, depending on what you need:

/conversion-strategise /conversion-copy /conversion-build /conversion-launch /conversion-science
07

Use it as a working partner.

For business strategy, ask it to guide market research, positioning, avatar design, offer architecture, copy, UX, launch plans, and conversion audits. For career guidance, ask it to adapt the same frameworks to personal positioning, skill packaging, portfolio messaging, outreach, and opportunity selection.
