The Lesson
You now have: an ideal customer (Day 8), a competitive position (Day 9), a one-line pitch (Day 10), a core message (Day 11), a competitive landscape (Day 12), and a website architecture (Day 13).
This is your strategy. Everything you build from now on serves this strategy.
Today's Exercise
Compile your strategy on one page:
- Who we serve: [Ideal customer profile from Day 8]
- What makes us different: [Blue Ocean positioning from Day 9]
- What we say: [One-line pitch from Day 10 + core message from Day 11]
- What we're up against: [Key competitive insight from Day 12]
- What we're building: [Site architecture from Day 13]
Print this or save it somewhere visible. Every decision you make in Weeks 3 and 4 should pass the test: "Does this serve the strategy?"
Output: A one-page strategy summary.
Share your progress: Share your one-line pitch (Day 10) with someone outside your industry. Their reaction tells you whether it works. If they say "oh, interesting" — it doesn't. If they say "how do you do that?" or "I know someone who needs that" — it does. Two weeks in. You've invested meaningful time. Sharing keeps the momentum real.
